Ray Rice, Domesitc Violence, Finger Pointing...

As always, more information has surfaced to a topic in which every American has an opinion on, so let me chime in.

It looks like all of society wants Ray Rice banned from the NFL and are even going for the head of Goodell. I am 100% and completely against domestic violence of BOTH genders. If you keep up with my blogs, you may have read my blog about the domestic violence I endured in my most relationship which lasted the entire year, as she was the aggressor. With that being said, here is what I think to the people out there asking for Rice to be banned from the NFL and Goodell to lose his job over this...

Take a look in the mirror. Think about everything you have done to your employer, to your friends, to your family, to your loved ones. If you have ever laid a hand on someone in anger, your company should fire YOU! Yea, if you want the NFL to ban Rice, then you need to own up and understand that other companies around the nation may take on to this and have a zero-tolerance policy with domestic violence outside the work place. So if you, Mr or Mrs Reader with an opinion, get trialed and convicted of domestic abuse (even those the charges were DROPPED,) you get to lose your job as well and if your owner has evidence supporting that case and doesn't come forward, they too should be dissected under a microscope. If companies start interfering with your personal life and punishing you for crimes committed outside the work hours, when and where will this, if ever, stop? The difference with Rice and other athletes and celebs is that they are looked upon as "idols" in which we look up to because of their talent. Constantly they are on the news, twitter, facebook, websites, etc for what they did wrong and unfortunately, RARELY what they did right. But we as a society have become the judge and jury of everything and everyone, we have become the dictators of this country. We are so quick to judge and not hear the entire side of all stories. We prosecute with what non sense the mainstream media shoves down our throat.

Ray Rice and his then-fiancee have since gotten married. Whatever happened between them behind closed doors that drove her into his arms is between them, that is their personal life. Whether you agree with it or not, its none of your fawkn business. If you treat your kid or pet a certain way and I don't agree with it, it's not my fawkn business unless you are enduring some sort of harm. I have my opinions and they are, whatever happens between them is their fawkn business, their money, their marriage, so leave their shit alone. Go worry about your issues at home instead of judging them because I bet if someone took a microscope into your personal life, I'm sure you wouldn't come out clean and perfect!
